Peggy R. Hoyt is the oldest of four sisters and grew up with cats and dogs, horses, hamsters, gerbils, fish, lizards and snakes. Peggy has always been crazy about horses. As a teenager, in addition to caring for her own horses, Peggy worked summers as an assistant on Charlie Iler's Thoroughbred breeding farm. However, at 16, Peggy traded her horses for a 1968 Ford Mustang. |

It wasn't until after Peggy graduated college-with an M.B.A. and a J.D. from Stetson University-and embarked on a multi-faceted, multi-directional sales, financial consulting and legal career that Peggy was once again able to realize her dream of horses. Peggy adopted Reno and Tahoe, her wild Mustangs, in May 1997, a traumatic and significant moment in her life. She adopted Sierra, a Premarin foal, in December 2000.
Since that time, when she is not meeting with clients in her law practice, The Law Offices of Hoyt & Bryan, LLC; speaking to audiences regarding the value of estate planning; networking with local business people; or promoting her firm in one way or another, she is spending time playing with her horses, her dogs and her cats, and spending quality time with her fiance, Joe Allen.
One of Peggy's favorite sayings is, "I've never had a trained horse." As a result, she spends a lot of her time incorporating the techniques of well-known horse trainers like John Lyons, Pat Parelli and Donna M. West into her daily routine. Peggy's passion is her pets-but especially her horses.
